ANSWER 1:
Becoming a Fantana is all about having fun and living life with fantastic energy. Whether its singing, dancing, fashion or participating in all sorts of activities—the Fantanas have an exuberant spirit and live life to the fullest. More than having a natural love of Fanta, being a Fantana also means appearing or traveling with the Fantanas on commercial or promotional adventures—always representing Fanta in a fun, positive, and refreshing way. And while it's tons of fun, an amazing opportunity, and a responsibility, being a Fantana does not demand a daily commitment. Called upon throughout the year, being a Fantana is just one part of the girls' very active and exciting lives.
ANSWER 2:
Upload a completed contest entry (Submission), which includes the following:
- Basic information: full name, address, date of birth etc.
- Essay describing (or explaining or expressing) why you want to be a Fantana in no more than 250 characters
- 1 photo of yourself
- 1 video of yourself singing, dancing, and explaining why you would make a great Fantana (NOTE: your video should include the Fanta product, and if you choose to use music, it must be the Fanta music provided in Video Tools, royalty free)
ANSWER 3:
Videos are rated by fans using a 5-star system for entertainment value and audience connection. Videos and Essays are judged by official judges on a variety of criteria including:
- Credibility and Enthusiasm
- Voice Skill
- Dance Skill
- Quality of Presentation

ANSWER 4:
Each contestant may only upload one contest entry (Submission). Please make sure that the application you enter is the one you'd like to be judged on. If there is something wrong with your video – inappropriate images, language, logos etc. – you will have an opportunity to resubmit. See Official Rules.
ANSWER 5:
"Entry Under Review" means that your entry (Submission) has been received. Contest moderators will then screen your entry making sure all aspects abide by the Official Contest Rules, and the criteria listed in Important Reminders. When your entry has been approved based on these criteria you will receive an email approval and your video will be posted for visitors to the site to rate beginning July 15thsuper, 2009. If any aspect of your entry is not approved, you will be notified via email and have an opportunity to resubmit by a date specified in the email message.
ANSWER 6:
No. You don't need to complete your entry all at once. Once you upload a video or photo, it will automatically be saved. You can leave the site and return later to continue. Simply log-in and click "Your Entry" to continue.
ANSWER 7:
Rating an Entry is your opinion of how entertaining and engaging a contestant's video is. You can rate videos from July 15thsuper - August 4thsuper. Voting is open to fans starting August 19thsuper after the Official Judges choose the Top 10 Finalists. Voting is your chance to vote for your favorite finalist. The official winner will be announced on September 10thsuper, 2009! - line break - For more details See Contest Rules Section 6.
ANSWER 8:
Each potential Semi-Finalist will be notified by email, phone or registered mail on or about August 7, 2009.Each potential Finalist will be notified by email, phone or registered mail on or about August 20, 2009.For more details see Contest Rules Section 10.
